Remy Ma is putting the Papoose ghostwriting rumors to bed. On Instagram Live Thursday, Remy said her husband was not behind her Nicki Minaj diss track "shETHER."

During her rant, the rapper explained that she writes her own rhymes, and has been from before she met Papoose. She started off my saying, "You know what's so crazy? N****s [say] Pap is writing for me. First of all, my husband is dumb nice... N****s ain't never want to give him his props."

Then, she continued, mentioning her diss track and timeline of previous music/when she met Papoose.

"Now, when n****s get 'ShETHER,' now all of a sudden, he's writing my rhymes? Who the f*** was writing my rhymes before I met him? I met Pap after 'Lean Back,' after 'Conceited,' after the 'Ante Up (Remix),' after all my mixtapes. Who was writing my s*** then? Like, are you f***ing dumb? And I'm bigger than you. It ain't about who's bigger -- it's about who's better."

Rumos that Papoose was ghostwriting for Remy Ma were fueled during 2 Chainz's album listening party when the rapper played his song "Realize," which features Nicki Minaj. Nicki's verse reportedly takes a shot at the subject. According to Billboard, the lyrics are "I’ve been winning eight years consistently, at least respect it/ Papoose wrote a 'Ether' record, but I broke Aretha record."
